In a distant future, a young girl named Sophia begins to question a world where education seems perfect, yet empty.

One day, she is chosen by an AI to travel back in time — to a century earlier, where she meets Philo, a student equally puzzled by what learning truly stands for. Together, they embark on a magical journey across different eras of Munsang College, encountering people and stories that gradually reveal the deeper meaning of education… and happiness.

Created to celebrate Munsang College’s 100th Anniversary, PHILO・SOPHIA is an original English musical proudly presented by Munsang College, Munsang College (Hong Kong Island), Munsang College Primary School, Munsang College Kindergarten, and the Munsang College Alumni Association. Developed over two years and involving hundreds of students, teachers and alumni, the production blends drama, music, dance, and innovative stagecraft to tell a story that bridges generations.

PHILO・SOPHIA is not only a reflection on a century of Munsang’s legacy, but also a heartfelt invitation to explore a timeless question: How far? Or how close is the journey between education and happiness?
